Jane McManus 

Occupational Therapist 

Jane graduated from The University of Sydney in 2003 with a Bachelor of Applied Science Occupational Therapy. She started her career in Occupational Rehab. Jane then broadened her skills by spending some time overseas travelling and locuming in hospitals in the UK. More recently Jane had been working with kids and adults with physical disabilities for example Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Microcephaly and other neurological conditions.


Jane has substantial experience in assistive technology assessment and prescription including power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs and complex seating.


Jane has a strong interest in inclusion for people with a disability in all parts of everyday life. She loves working with her participants to increase their independence in their everyday activities whether that is learning to wash hands, doing up shoelaces, using their power wheelchair to access their home and community or learning how to catch public transport. Jane’s focus is always working with her participants and their supports to reach their goals.
